About Hoshikuzu

星 屑

Stardust. A small family of four, and the studio that draws their world. Slowly, by hand, mostly at night.

第一章

Who We Are

私たちについて

Hoshikuzu is a small creative studio built around a single idea: that quiet stories deserve a home. We create the world of Otou, Okaa, Anika, and Mu-Chan — a family of four who live in a wooden house at the edge of a paper forest, where the kettle is always on and the sky takes its time.

Everything we make begins as a drawing. From that drawing comes a plushie, a vinyl figure, a comic page, a song. Each piece is a small window into the same world — one you can hold, read, collect, or just look at on a shelf when the day has been too loud.

The Family

家族
お父さんthe father

Otou

Quiet, steady, and always up before sunrise. He checks the weather for no reason — there is never anywhere they need to be.

お母さんthe mother

Okaa

She knows which drawer the scissors are in. She also knows when you need tea without you saying so.

お姉ちゃんthe older sister

Anika

Draws maps of places that don't exist. Keeps a notebook of things she means to say and never does.

the little brother

Mu-Chan

Technically a member of the family. Has opinions about sleeping arrangements and no plans to change them.

Made With Quiet Hands

静かな手で

We are a small studio. Most things here take longer than they should. The drawings are done by hand. The decisions are made slowly. We do not move fast, and we think that is probably fine.

If you collect Hoshikuzu, follow the comics, or just have one plushie on your desk that you did not mean to become attached to — thank you. You are part of why this world keeps getting drawn.
